Headingley Central is the new name for the Headingley Arndale Centre. This prominent multi use building located in the centre of Headingley, now owned by Schroders, is currently going through a major refurbishment and modernisation. Along with its fresh new look, it is looking to create a new identity for itself as a prime shopping, office, and leisure destination centre for the people of north Leeds and beyond. Hence the new name.

Headingley Central is already a major stopping off point for people. Retail tenants include Sainsbury’s, Wilkinson’s, Superdrug, Arcadia, Pizza Express and Costa (details here). The aim is to further diversify the retail offer and attract new ‘value’ retailers. The offices are let to a range of tenants and are being modernised to attract new business and leisure opportunities. A new Premier Inn has opened in the tower and there will be an upgrade of the facades, shop fronts, offices and the adjoining public realm.  There is parking available.

Located in the centre of the local community, newly refurbished Headingley Central will significantly add to and enrich the wider amenity offer in Headingley for residents, businesses and visitors alike.
