Leeds Beckett University
At Leeds Beckett University, we are delighted to be a "Friend in Headingley". We are a major part of the area's landscape and the grounds of our Headingley Campus at Beckett Park are open to everyone. It was the belief in the power of education to transform people's lives that led Leeds Council to establish the original Leeds College of Education on our Headingley site in 1912. This belief continues to lie at the heart of everything we do at the University. Today we have two large campuses and more than 28,000 students. Contributing around £500 million to the local economy, our commitment to the Leeds community is as strong as ever.
