Woodhouse Ridge lies on the northern edge of Headingley Hill, descending steeply from the Hill down to Meanwood Beck, looking over Meanwood Valley. From Headingley, there are only a few points of access (see map). For the location, see the downloadable map on the Home page. (Other parks are listed on the Parks page.)

The Ridge is owned by Leeds City Council and managed by its Parks & Countryside Service. It is cared for by Woodhouse Ridge Action Group (WRAG).
